Managed IT, cloud, software, mobile, AI and security — real work we deliver, kept off the front page so the database practice can say one thing clearly.
Onsys is a database company. Databases are what we are asked for, what we publish prices for, and what our consultants do all day.
Everything on this page is real work we deliver, and most of it exists because database clients asked for it. It is here rather than on the front page because a company that leads with eight disciplines is telling you it specialises in none of them.
Service desk, infrastructure, cloud, security and vendor management under one accountable SLA, for Australian SMBs.
Managed IT ›Vendor-neutral advice across Azure, AWS and Oracle Cloud — strategy, landing zones, cost modelling and FinOps.
Cloud consultancy ›Dependencies mapped, waves planned, cutover rehearsed and rollback tested before anything moves.
Cloud migrations ›Windows and Linux administration, patching, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and server hardening, covered around the clock.
System administration ›Managed networks and firewalls across the major vendors — segmentation, VPN, WAF and monitoring.
Network and firewalls ›Hypervisor and storage management, capacity planning and backup across the major platforms.
Virtualisation and storage ›Web, API and SaaS development under Australian project leadership, on fixed-cost or milestone engagements.
Software development ›iOS, Android and cross-platform apps from ideation through store release, then maintained under a support SLA.
Mobile apps ›Pipeline builds, failure triage and job scheduling across the common integration stacks.
Integration services ›Retrieval chatbots that cite their sources, document processing and analytics, delivered on the cloud you already use.
AI solutions ›24/7 SOC, managed SIEM and threat hunting, with monthly evidence an auditor will accept.
Managed security ›Endpoint detection and response with analyst triage and containment, not just an agent and a dashboard.
Managed EDR ›Find the sensitive data you hold, control who can reach it, and secure the code that touches it.
Data security ›Controls mapped to ISO 27001, the ACSC Essential Eight, APRA CPS 234 and SOC 2, with the gaps closed and the evidence produced.
GRC and compliance ›Most of this work starts with somebody asking whether we also look after the servers, the network or the backups. The answer is usually yes.

A database company that also does the IT around databases. Microsoft SQL Server database administration is the specialisation, with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB on the same team. Managed IT, cloud, software, mobile, AI and security are real services we deliver, and most of that work exists because database clients asked for it.
They are delivered together with the Onsys delivery centre in Colombo, under Australian engagement leadership. Databases are the exception: every login to a client database instance is made by an Onsys consultant based in Australia, on every plan, by default and not as an upgrade. No offshore engineer holds credentials to a client database environment.
Yes. Managed IT for small and medium business starts at $4,500 a month ex-GST for up to 30 users, and does not require a database plan. The reverse is also true — a database plan does not oblige you to take anything else.
